In order to tackle hyperpigmentation, our two most important goals are:

• Reduction of accumulated melanin, topically on the skin and

Mandelic acid has whitening properties and is at the same time a mild exfoliating peel, so as not to irritate photo-aged skin.

Lactic acid reduces the formation of melanin.

  • Μask with moisturising, soothing and regenerating action. Enriched with moisturising hyaluronic acid and zinc.

Information you need to know after a Peel session

• Mild redness and skin irritation may occur after the session.
• Mild exfoliation can occur the day following the Peel and may last for 1 – 4 days.
• You can resume your normal activities immediately. The skin does not need downtime.

For the treatment to be comprehensive, it must begin with the appropriate soothing products at home at least 10 days in advance and  it continues during the sessions at Nefer Beauty Salon & Diet Centre.

After the sessions, the results are maintained at home with the appropriate products recommended by the Nefer Beautician.
Although you should always wear sunscreen on your face, neck and chest, especially for Peel sessions, you must wear sunscreen. In particular, sun exposure should be avoided 10 days before the treatment and for 1 month after the last session.

• Mandelic acid has whitening properties and is at the same time a mild exfoliating peel, so as not to irritate the skin.
• Lactobionic acid, in addition to exfoliation, provides anti-oxidation without dehydrating the skin.
• Salicylic acid has a very good ability to penetrate the sebaceous gland to regulate smegma over-secretion.
• Lactic acid has a whitening effect to reduce hyperpigmentation (sun blotches).

For a healthy-looking skin, without brown spots / sun blotches / hyperpigmentation:

During summer, the skin is exposed to solar radiation more than in any other season. The sun affects the skin causing photoaging. Fine wrinkles, sun blotches (pigmental spots) and facial erythrosis constitute signs of photoaging. These signs are more evident after summer. If the sings of photoaging are pre empted in the beginning, then they can be treated faster.

How does Photoregeneration with Aurora whiten my skin?

The Aurora device is a safe method for the removal of the unpleasant skin “damages” on the face and body.

It utilises the technology of two different energy sources. light energy which is the pulsed light or IPL and electrical energy which is the RF or radio-frequency. This technology is called ELOS (Electro Optical Synergy) and makes the treatment more effective.

What time of the year is appropriate for Photoregeneration?

Photoregeneration is done exclusively in Winter, on skins that are not tanned. This ensures that no side effects are created after the session.

It is also not for people who do winter sports (open-air swimming pools, winter swimming) and generally for those who work outdoors and their skin is exposed to the sun. Moreover, it is not permitted for those with photosensitivity.

What will the skin look like immediately after a photoregeneration session for sun blotches?

Afterwards, you may feel a heating effect on the area of application, such as the feeling we have after a mild sunburn, which recedes very soon.

Within 3-4 days, spots will darken and fade gradually within 1 – 2 weeks.

I have a beard, can I choose Photoregeneration for  this particular area?

Photoregeneration on bearded skin is not permitted, as hair loss is very likely to occur on the area where it is applied.
