Microneedling therapy is performed using the Neopen MED® device by Toskani.
Microneedling therapy is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT).

The Neopen MED® by Toskani is a digital device, which resembles a pen, with a disposable head featuring six very fine needles made of surgical steel at its tip.
The needles move up and down at a rapid speed on the skin, creating a controlled injury. Microchannels are formed on the epidermis and dermis without causing significant damage to the outer layer of the skin.

It is a minimally invasive procedure aimed at activating the skin’s natural repair mechanisms, in order to rejuvenate damaged or aged skin. This is achieved because with the needle (puncture):

• Increases collagen & elastin production
• Stimulates neovascularization (Improved oxygen supply to the skin)
• Growth factors are released

At the same time, the microscopic channels created in the epidermis facilitate transdermal delivery of active substances, while quickly closing again. The depth reached by the microperforations with microneedling mesotherapy is 0.2mm – 0.5mm.

The results are visible from the very first application and are completed in about 3 months for the full results of the microneedling procedure to appear, such as reduced appearance of wrinkles and improved skin elasticity. This is due to the time required for new collagen formation.

The mesotherapeutic serums used with the Neopen MED® to penetrate the skin are mainly from the company Toskani.
They contain a combination of peptides, biorevitalizers, vitamin complexes, enzymes, and inorganic ingredients designed to achieve long-lasting results.

The technology of mesotherapeutic serums is based on:

• Liposome
  Liposomal active ingredients with biomimetic composition for maximum penetration into the deeper layers of the skin, providing 10 times the action.
• Peptides
  Innovative combinations of peptides. Peptides help the skin defend itself against external factors.
• Hyaluronic Acid
  High-quality hyaluronic acid based on pharmaceutical bioproduction.

Treatment stages

• Cleaning of the application area

Three days after the session, a 200% increase in collagen synthesis is observed, along with a 50-70% increase in fibroblasts, an improvement in skin texture and smoothness by up to 79%, an increase in elasticity by up to 36%, and a significant reduction in redness and irritation.

We recommend specific products for home use to boost collagen production and skin regeneration. It is suggested to start using them 15-30 days before the session and to continue for at least 1 month after the sessions.

After the microneedling session with Neopen MED® by Toskani, avoid:

• Using products containing Vitamin A (retinol, retinaldehyde, etc.) for 24 hours.
• Sun exposure for 24 hours.
• Intense physical exercise immediately after the session.
• Swimming in chlorinated pools for 3-5 days.
• Laser hair removal on the face for at least 5 days.
• Sauna, steam room for 24 hours.

Use daily sunscreen protection.
