Nefer Beauty Salon & Diet Centre is the ideal place to come for piercing. We use the safe BLOMDAHL MEDICAL PIERCING technique (for ears & nose) and we take care to meet all the quality and safety standards in order to offer you this service in a safe and comfortable way.
Let’s not forget that while piercing may be done for reasons of elegance, it is also a medical intervention.
Blomdahl offers a wide variety of earrings:
- Special earrings for healing. These are the earrings used during the piercing with the special piercing gun (for ears or nose) and remain on the skin until it is fully healed.
- Earrings for after the healing process. Depending on the point of piercing (ears or nose), a different healing time is required.

Jewellery is produced with high-quality control methods. All earrings are sterilized and their production takes place in areas that meet specialised specifications, such as positive air pressure circulating after being cleaned by special micro-filters.
Ear Piercing
It is important, at least in the first year of piercing, to wear good quality earrings. This avoids the appearance of an allergy from the wrong material of earrings.
At Nefer Beauty Salon & Dier Centre, there is a choice of 2 kinds of materials for the earring. It is made of titanium or medical plastic (silicone), which is of medical specifications, by Blomdahl. It is recommended both for kids and adults who want to be sure that they will not develop a nickel allergy during the healing process.
- Medical plastic earrings (silicone) – this is the one of a kind ear piercing in the world that does not contain any nickel (0%). Because children’s desire for ear piercing is growing, Blomdahl has designed Medical plastic earrings that weigh about 1/5 less than steel earrings.
- Titanium (Natural or golden) earrings – a skin-friendly metal. Homogeneous (not doublet) titanium of medical specifications that does not cause allergic reactions when used. Titanium earrings are made by:
– Natural titanium or they are
– Gold-plated. Gold-plated Titanium is made with 18K gold.
– Silver-plated. Silver-plated titanium is coated with the unique rhodium.
The metal-plating of the earrings is done only on the part of the jewel that does not come into contact with the skin.
All the earrings are discreet and made of Swarovski stones.
The safety clasps are located at the tip of the stud’s “nails” to ensure that air circulates better around the hole, thus helping the” hole” to heal faster and healthier. The safety clasp is placed on the sharp side of the capsule-shaped nail so as not to be obtrusive or harmful to the skin behind the ear.
The earrings used for ear piercing are thicker than normal earrings with a diameter of 1.3mm. This ensures a better hole during healing.
Ear piercing procedure
- Initially, in the case of a minor, we ask for the parent’s consent.
- We complete the customer’s history.
- The customer chooses their preferred earring.
- The beautician wears disposable gloves on clean hands.
- We clean the ears with a special antiseptic handkerchief, soaked with 70% isopropylalchohol & 0.5% Chlorhexidine Gluconate.
- We mark the point where the piercing will take place and show it to the customer.
- We sterilize our hands – gloves.
- We open the “cartridge” with the sterile earring in front of you and we apply it on the “gun”.
- We proceed with piercing. The earring penetrates the skin and snaps automatically into place.
- Before you leave our premises, you will receive written instructions on how to take care of the wound.
Three are the rules for proper healing. Skin: clean, dry, aerated.
It goes without saying that whoever has their ears pierced should not touch the piercing with dirty hands.
You do not have to “twist” the earring.

Nose piercing
In the first year, the chance of an allergic reaction to the nose after piercing is considerable. That’s why it is very important to wear high quality jewellery such as Blomdahl.
Titanium earrings (Natural or golden) are used – Titanium is the safest choice of material for piercing. It is a skin-friendly metal due to its non-allergenic characteristics. Homogeneous (not doublet) titanium of medical specifications that does not cause allergic reactions is used. Titanium earrings are made by:
- Natural titanium or they are
- Gold-plated. The gold-plated section is of 18-carat gold and covers only the visible part of the earring, that is, the part that does not come in direct contact with the skin.
Nose piercing procedure

- We clean the nose externally with a special antiseptic handkerchief, soaked with 70% isopropylalchohol & 0.5% Chlorhexidine Gluconate and internally with a special cotton bud.
- We mark the point where the piercing will take place and show it to the customer.
- We sterilize our hands – gloves.
- We open the “cartridge” with the sterile earring in front of you and we apply it on the “gun”.
- We proceed with piercing. The earring penetrates the skin.
- Before you leave our premises, you will receive written instructions on how to take care of the wound.

You do not have to “twist” the earring.
Especially for nose piercing, during sleeping time we recommend wearing protection over the earring so that the it does not come off the hole.
You can change the special healing earring after 1.5 months. However, it would be advisable to always wear a nose earring for a year and this should be hypo-allergic. This is because it takes that long for the nose to heal completely.
