The steps of Brow Lamination include:

• Straightening of eyebrow hairs and application of the first gel, which remains for 6-8 minutes, depending on the thickness of the hair.
• Application of special adhesive to maintain the shape defined by the aesthetician.
• Placement of the second stabilizing gel on the hairs, for 6-8 minutes.
• Designing of the eyebrow with appropriate measurements to define the outline of the eyebrow.
• Eyebrow tinting.
• Cleaning of excess eyebrow hairs (with wax and tweezers).
• Application of a product to restore the structure of the hair.

Aftercare for Brow Lamination

For the first 48 hours, it is not allowed to:

• The use of makeup removers, as they may remove the dye or alter the results of Brow Lamination.
• Wetting the eyebrows.
• Touching or rubbing the eyebrows.
• Sleeping face down. Ideally, sleep on your back.
• Hot showers, sauna, emptying a hot dishwasher, and using an oven.
• Exfoliating the skin around the eyebrows.
• Using retinol, Retinaldehyde, vitamin A, acid peels, steroid creams, or topical acne treatments

After 48 hours, it is allowed to wet the eyebrows and gently brush or comb them to bring them back into place.
After the Brow Lamination service, to restore the structure of the eyebrow hairs and maintain their health, daily use at home of a nourishing and moisturizing eyebrow product is required, recommended by the aesthetician at Nefer.
This helps prevent frizzy hairs while providing shine and softness to the eyebrows.

Contraindications

Permanent:

• Allergy to previous Brow Lamination or eyebrow dye application
• Epilepsy
• Hepatitis, HIV, syphilis, or any infectious diseases that can be transmitted through contact with wounds and blood.
• Alopecia
• Keratitis
• Bell’s palsy or any condition that makes it difficult to close or open the eyes.
• Any disease/disorder causing agitation, spasmodic movements in the eyes.
• Claustrophobia, as the client should not open their eyes during the treatment.

Temporary (allowed to do Brow Lamination after the symptoms have subsided):

• Eye diseases (e.g., conjunctivitis, glaucoma, cataracts, chalazion, etc.)
• Watery, irritated eyes, especially after sleep
• Dry eyes, red eyes, eyelids
• Hypersensitive skin around the eyes/hypersensitive eyes
• Itching or burning sensation in the eyes
• Skin disease, skin trauma, cuts, rashes, burns, and swelling around the eye area
• Skin conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema
• Very thin and damaged eyelashes
• Alopecia (hair loss)
• Trichotillomania
• Pregnancy & breastfeeding
• Cancer
• Allergic rhinitis. Eyes may be watery, risking product entry into the eyes

Brow Lamination should not be performed simultaneously with:

• Recent deep facial cleansing
• Recent chemical peeling with acids
• Recent semi-permanent eyebrow or eyelash makeup (allowed after 6 months, while still Brow Lamination may make semi-permanent makeup fade faster)
• Systematic acne treatment with Roaccutane, Isotec, Epiduo
• Recent topical use of retinol (Vitamin A)
• Chemotherapy (allowed after 6 months)
• Eye/eyelid surgery (allowed after 6 months)
